Hi Cynthia!

I'm sorry I hadn't enabled the lyrics to show up on the music site but now I've fixed it, so you should be able to click on the title "Shine the Light" and you will see the lyrics. Thanks for asking, and I hope your project goes well!

Dear friends. Please pray for our nine-year-old ministry (started in 2001) -- www.tjlit.org (Testifying Jesus’ Love in Truth).
We make free resumes, teach free English weekly, and do free translations/interpretations in 17 languages to any church or organization that asks us to. We also give out 3000 tracts each week, and we get people who are abused, have mental illness and other problems into churches and places where they can receive help, as well as getting kids into free dentists.
We love the Lord, and love the ministry he has blessed us with. We are deeply committed to fighting racism and poverty.
Please send us your prayer requests (Email: reachus@tjlit.org.), and pass our site to friends, missionaries and family, as there are many who are lonely; and, we are thrilled when Christians connect. As the world becomes more hostile towards Christians; it is essential that we connect.
At the moment we are trying to set up a pen pal club so people from all over can write to others and develop friendships.
Nobody should be lonely. If you read this and are lonely, please contact us and we will do our best to get you into a good church wherever you are in the world.
Please also click on and read the Bible verse of the day, and say a prayer for us. Also, please send us words of encouragement.
Is there anyway we can help you? Please contact us – especially if you are lonely. God bless you.

To our American friends: Please read article 51 on our site “Things I love about America.”
PS. Sorry to the person whose guestbook we have just signed. If we have taken up a lot of space and not commented, again, sorry. The fact that we have left a message is proof, in our opinion, that you are good. God bless you. Ian.

Dear Junko San
This is a first time to send you a message.
I happened to know that you were the vocalist of"Kenny and Junko" in NHK Eigo Kaiwa I. It was my favorite program.
As some of the performances of "Kenny and Junko" are on "You Tube", I enjoy listening to your songs even now.
Your performances were so impressive that I think many NHK audiences at that time still remember the name of "Kenny and Junko".
I'm very happy to know that you remain a wonderful singer.
Sincerely,
Komatsu

Thank you for an answer.
I can identify you as Junko of "Kenny and Junko", and I feel glad. When I watched English conversation Ⅰ for the first time, I was a high school student. The reason is because it said that my English teacher watch English conversation Ⅰ. He said,"When you study English, it is helpful to watch English conversation Ⅰ." His words were right things. Thanks to English conversation Ⅰ, I was able to learn English.
In English conversation Ⅰ, I loved "Song Album" particularly. It was the corner that you and Kenny Okimoto sang so. I enjoyed your clear beautiful voice and guitar of Kenny, your wonderful harmony. I love the Beatles now. When my husband lived in Portugal by work several years ago, I went to Liverpool that was a hometown of the Beatles with him. The music of the Beatles which I listened to for the first time was " You won't see me", you and Kenny sang it not the Beatles. On the coattails of you, I knew the Beatles and came to like them. Optionally, I remember the song which you sang a lot. But I did not know that 20 songs of you sang!
You are pleased to know that I remember you, and I am glad. When your parents are pleased, I am glad. Please give my best regards to them. Then do you still contact Kenny? Please tell him about me if you can do it.
Do you give a concert in Japan? If there is an opportunity, I want to listen.

I apologize for having written a long sentence for joy. This sentence was translated into English by Yahoo! Translation. If you feel it with unnatural English, I'm sorry. To tell the real intention, I want to write it in Japanese.

I pray for your happiness.

August 6, 2009

Hi Mayurin san!

Yes, I did sing on the Eigo Kaiwa show many years ago. I can't believe you remember! We were the "Kenny and Junko" duo on Eiko Kaiwa 1 in the 80's while we were students at International Christian University in Mitaka. I was only there for one year, but during the summer I recorded maybe 20 songs, and NHK played it over and over for several years. I went back to the US, but I still occasionally come back to Japan for concerts.

I will have to tell my parents who now live in Hawaii that somebody remembers! Thank you for writing and making my day!

Yours,
Junko

I'm sorry if different.
Are you the person who sang by a program of the Japanese English conversation"EIGO KAIWAⅠ"
around 25 years ago?
I loved that program, and I looked by all means.

I just wanted to let you know I love your music. Very fun, and I did download the trax for Shine the Light, How Deep...and Rest in You, for my choir. I am an elementary music teacher in SPokane WA, and I'm always looking for trax to use with my kids, because I can't play and direct at the same time. Thank you for having your songs available.

Hi Junko!

Long time no talk! I was just checking out your new website design. I like the colors a lot. I also saw that you are going to the MOPS convention this year. How exciting! Andrew and I are getting ready to have our second baby, a girl named Ella, in July. So my schedule has definitely slowed down quite a bit and that's okay. I hope all is well with you and your family.

Blessings upon you!

PRAISE THE LORD : JESUS IS ABLE

Date: April 11, 2009
Beloved in Christ,

Greetings to you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My name is Jachin Charley, I am 33 years old; I am from Jesus Gospel Ministry, Andhra Pradesh, India. I am so glad to meet you through this email. Thank you very much for taking time and reading this email. The Bible says in Proverbs 14 : 21 “ Blessed is he who is kind to the needy ” also in Psalm 112 : 9 “ He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor, his righteousness endures forever; his horn will be lifted high in honor ” and we see in Luke 6 : 38 “ Give, and it will be given to you ” Beloved, in my Rustumbada village, so many poor people are staying in small huts. They don’t have proper food, cloths. Because of their poverty they are not having education. They are living in so much agony and pain. They don’t have medication. We have a burden about these poor people. We are giving them food, cloths and medicines. We are spending our own money to help them with love. Jesus Gospel Ministry started in the year 2006 on September 28. We are giving them Good News of Jesus. They are accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. We have a nice Church here in Rustumbada. Our church name is Bethel Church. Almighty God changing their lives. Please pray for these people. Please tell about us to your friends, relatives, church members. For your reference we are sending some photos. Please click this link to view the Jesus Gospel Ministry photos.

Hi Junko! It was wonderful to experience your worship leadership at Mt. Hermon! You are such a blessing! Your new CD is wonderful! Our church is working on a puppet ministry and we want to invite you to put on a children's concert in Lodi in the future. It would be great to have you come and share your music with us! The kids are learning the songs, especially the Japanese words. I am teaching them Japanese this summer in an independent study. So, please let's check over your schedule for either late 2008 or some time in 2009. It would be fantastic! I love your back yard flower song about the renunculus! Thank you for any feedback you can give us. In His love, Ellen

Hi Junko,
We were at CCIC San Jose when you led the children worship. I bought the CDs and my children learned your songs. Last week, we were back at our home church in Singapore and my six year old son sang Rest in You Alone for the congregation as my sister was preaching on Psalm 62. They were really blessed by your song. It's a beautiful song. I have a video clip of his rendition of your song, if you're interested.

Hi Junko!

I love your website! I linked to it from Mark Roberts's site. You continue to use your considerable talent and love for Christ in your many accomplishments! All is well here in West Michigan!

January 29, 2008

Praise God for music.

Dear Junko,

I had the priveledge to hear you sing last summer here in San Jose at Chinese Church in Christ (CCIC).

We went to the children worship to hear you sing.
My son - who was 3.5 at the time did not want to go and was upset. He did not follow any of the hand motions.

That Monday, I was trying to remember one song, but instead my head was humming "God made me".
Suddenly, my son sang "Alleluja, Amen". That was the 1st song you sang, and that was what I wanted to sing. I was so surprised.
Few days later, I sang part of "Brave Believers" and I
stopped because I forgot the rest. However, my son kept singing "press on, press on".
Isn't this amazing? Singing praises to the Lord is so natural to children.

Thanks for your work.

Hi Bob!

Indeed you are my first guest! I'm glad you can see my new website, because I just switched my DNS server yesterday and my website is slowly proliferating throughout the internet. I'm personally seeing some weird combination of my old and new at different times of the day, so I'm hoping that this will all settle down within a day or two. I just got home from a rehearsal from Saddleback--not quite like our choir with Hanan at Trinity! Do you remember Jake Hill? He plays the guitar for them from time to time, and I saw him just this past Sunday. Anyway, thanks for stopping by!
